11/5/01 BioThentica Corporation was invited to do a technology demonstration at West Virginia University, in Morgantown, for Senator Jay Rockefeller, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Aviation. Senator Rockefeller presided over the Senate field hearing at West Virginia University, which examined the possible uses of biometrics and other technologies to strengthen aviation security. Federal Aviation Administration Administrator Jane Garvey was among several panelists testifying at this hearing. BioThentica demonstrated the SentryScan™ DL-200 Fingerprint Door Lock, as well as Guardware's AccessGuard, a patented biosensor access control system.
