About Rodney Pentecost

Pentecost Investigation & Protection Services, Inc. "PIPS", was founded in 1999 by Rodney Pentecost. He is a career law enforcement officer who has served more than 25 years of continuous service as full time law enforcement professional in the State of Texas. Rodney worked his way up through the ranks eventually becoming the Chief Law Enforcement Executive within his agency. In addition, he is a Veteran of the Armed Forces having served four years active duty as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a member of the 1st 505th Airborne Infantry Division at Fort Bragg, NC in the United States Army prior to beginning his Law Enforcement career.

Mr. Pentecost holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston and a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University a TAMU System School. Both are accredited Universities in Texas. He was awarded the Academic Recognition Award by The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement in addition to the Master Peace Officer Certification, the highest certification earned by a Texas Law Enforcement Officer.

Mr. Pentecost has attended numerous specialized and advanced law enforcement training programs over the years. Early in his career while employed as a Special Agent with a State law enforcement agency in Texas, Mr. Pentecost worked assignments as an undercover operative through out Texas. He received numerous letters of commendation for his investigative skills and for cases he made on many individuals who had never been caught.

He is a member of numerous organizations which include The American Society of Industrial Security “ASIS”, The Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas "CLEAT", The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives "NOBLE", and The International Association of Chiefs of Police "IACP", Texas Police Chiefs Association, Harris County Area Police Chiefs Association and Chi Sigma Iota International Honor Society for Counseling Professionals just to name a few. Mr. Pentecost manages the daily operations at PIPS and oversees all major investigations.

He is married to Vera and they have two children, Evan and Talor. Mr. Pentecost and his family attend New Light Christian Center Church in Houston, Texas where they are active members.
