O’Fallon is a suburb that has a heartland feel to it, where small town values permeate the fabric of people’s lives.
The O’Fallon Bible Church is the axis upon which the town and its value structure spin. But as in every community,
large or small, an evil force lurks around the corner, strong and invisible, waiting for a moment of weakness.
The Reverend David Parst, his wife, Sarah, and their son, Jack, appear to be the ideal minister's family. David's
standing in the church and community is unassailable. Yet, he comes face to face with a temptation so
strong that it leads him toward his own destruction - leaving his community scandalized and his family destroyed.
Shattered and separated, the Parsts embark upon a quest to regain their faith, their hope and their family --
a quest to find something that lasts.
